ABOUT US
The band was created in 2016 by Michał Wełnic (guitar), who at the time played in the band "Stone Factory", and Mateusz Paluszkiewicz (drums).
Soon after that the band was joined by Emanuel Kunka (vocals). What's interesting, Emanuel recorded his vocal tracks for one of many Michał's solo recordigs coincidentally, two years before they even met.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the foundation of the band, which was later called DIMERA.
At the beginning DIMERA's musicians weren't sure if the content they created was good enough, therefore they didn't rent the rehersal studio for longer periods of time.
Interested in musical concept of DIMERA, guitarist Dawid Młodzianowski, who formerly played in black metal band "Ritual Bloodshed", responded to group's Facebook advertisement and joined the band.
DIMERA, in bigger and almost complete group, needed a new place to practice and polish their compositions. That's why the band moved to the next rehersal studio located in the basement of one of schools in Poznań. All of this was possible because of the great kindness of the local underground's star - the band called "Ceti" (thanks, guys!). In the new place DIMERA created some highly energetic tunes and came up with the complete concept and direction of the future creations.
Ideas kept coming, but in the same time, in order to raise the quality of music, the band needed to put effort in creating more oppurtunities to train their skills. To do that, they also needed a place that would let them spread the musical wings, so they moved to yet another, more spacious venue that made them even more independent than before.
Second year of looking for the right bass player came to an end. This place was often occupied by wrong people, considering their decisions or abilities. However since there's nothing still in nature, finally the band was joined by the right person, in the right moment, for the right place!
We're talking here about Piotr Rzepka, who with the fresh blow of wind of change also brung some positive attitude towards everyone's life. In the past Piotr played in the very appreciated oldschool band called "Bare Assed".
After three years of playing together and improving band's sync, DIMERA at the beginning of 2019 recorded their debut studio album called "End of All", which includes some powerful tracks, such as "It's Getting Dark" or "Buried Alive".
Unfortunately, out of personal aspects of life, one of DIMERA's founders, Michał Wełnic, had to give up on playing his neon guitar and leave the band (thank you for every effort put on the band and every moment spent together!).
Despite the fact that DIMERA is currently looking for the second guitarist, the band didn't stop playing. They adjusted their music to a bit simpler and in the same time still powerful sound.
Musical concept is still evolving, the band is searching for new solutions in a way which will definitely make some great results. DIMERA encourages every guitar player that is interested in heavy sounds to contact the band via social media and make some great music together.
The band is still working on new content and fresh ideas are constantly flowing through their minds, however they still have time for fans to play some mindblowing music live. With that fact in mind DIMERA hopes to see you on future concerts - in Poland and (hopefully) abroad!

Zespół powstał w 2016 roku z inicjatywy Michała Wełnica (gitara), wtedy jeszcze grającego w zespole "Stone Factory" oraz Mateusza Paluszkiewicza (perkusja).
Niebawem do składu dołączył Emanuel Kunka (wokal).
Piotr Rzepka, bo o nim tu mowa, wniósł powiew świeżości i pozytywne, niczym nieskrępowane podejście do życia.
Koncepcja ewoluuje i z pewnością przyniesie pozytywne rezultaty. Chętnych do chwycenia za wiosło zachęcamy do kontaktu i owocnej współpracy!
W dalszym ciągu zespół pracuje nad materiałem, a świeże pomysły wciąż drążą nieprzerwanie nasze umysły!
